Turkana Carved Headrest, Kenya, Collected in the 1970s
$650.00Price
A Turkana headrest from Kenya, collected in the 1970s, with beautiful carving on each side. Traditionally, Turkana men use one as both a seat and a headrest. Small and sculptural, it is the kind of piece I love to tuck onto a shelf among books and ceramics: I styled it on the shelves of two of our San Francisco projects.
Styled in our West Portal Hideaway and Miraloma Park Keepsake projects.
