We begin with you: how you live, what you collect, where you love to curl up. Then we plan every inch, design every detail and manage every order, with a trusted team of makers beside us, so all you have to do is watch your home become unmistakably yours.
From our studio in Sausalito, we design homes across Marin, San Francisco and the Bay Area, and for clients throughout California, the US and Europe.
How it works
1. Discover. We visit your home, listen to how you live and gather what inspires you: the pieces you love, the places you remember, the way you want each room to feel.
2. Concept. A design direction with layout plans, a palette of materials and finishes, and a first look at furniture, lighting and art.
3. Design development. Detailed plans, elevations, lighting and every selection refined, priced and approved by you.
4. Procurement. We order, track and receive everything, from custom upholstery to vintage finds, and coordinate with your contractor and trades.
5. Installation and styling. We install, layer and style every room, then hand you the keys to a finished home.

Where do you work?
We're based in Sausalito and work throughout Marin County (Sausalito, Mill Valley, Tiburon, Belvedere, Larkspur, Corte Madera, Ross, Kentfield, San Anselmo, San Rafael and Novato), San Francisco, the East Bay and the Peninsula. We also take on full-service projects across California, the US and Europe.
How long does a full-service project take?
Every home moves at its own pace. A single room typically takes a few months, depending on the availability and lead times of the pieces we choose, especially custom and vintage finds. A whole home can take anywhere from six months to two years or more, depending on construction, custom work and the craftspeople involved. Beautiful, lasting work is worth the wait, and we'll map out a realistic timeline together from day one.
How are you paid?
Simply and transparently. Our design time is billed hourly, so you only pay for what your home truly needs. Furnishings are purchased through our trade accounts, and you'll never pay more than the retail price for anything we source. We'll walk you through it all in our first conversation.
