The bones of this Noe Valley home were crisp and unmistakably modern: clean lines, black-framed windows and light pouring in from every side. Our clients, a couple who love to gather, wanted to feel the earth underfoot. They care deeply about wellbeing, of body and spirit, and asked for a home that would nourish both.

So we let nature in, piece by piece. Travertine and river stone. Lighter woods woven around the original walnut. Soft rugs, tactile upholstery and seating that invites you to sink in. Every nook was shaped around how they live, right down to the parting gift waiting by the door.

Modern at heart, but softened, grounded and deeply calm.
