Mill Valley Western
Marin County, CA
Tucked among the trees in Mill Valley, this home has a little Western soul.
Our client's taste was quiet and easy, and they trusted us to let the house do the talking. So we framed it in bold black walls against bright white, letting the light and the green beyond the windows take centre stage.
Then we told its story. A longhorn skull above the fire. Felt hats on the wall. Sheepskins draped over leather chairs, and a Western blanket at the foot of the bed. Music lives here too: guitars lean by the hearth and the bed, waiting to be picked up. Brass floor lamps and gilded frames add a little polish.
Western in spirit, modern in every line, and right at home in Marin.
